  • Dustin Dunbar

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Healthcare Entrepreneurship Award ($3,000)

    Bio: Dustin Dunbar is an alumnus of the College of William and Mary (BBA '09) and Georgetown University (MSF '19).  After a decade in the Army, he moved on to venture capital as part of Virginia Venture Partners where he invests in promising early-stage tech companies based in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

  • Amy Millman

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Healthcare Entrepreneurship Award ($3,000)

    Bio: Amy Millman is a passionate advocate for women tech and life science entrepreneurs. She is a Georgetown EIR, leads the Summer Launch Incubator and is a Managing Partner of the StageNext venture fund. In 2000, she founded Springboard Enterprises to accelerate the growth of companies led by women through access to essential resources and a community of experts. She led the organization for 21 years, creating its programming and establishing a global network. During her tenure, the portfolio topped 800 companies creating over $35 Billion in value for investors, clients and customers through equity raised, IPOs and sales to strategic acquirers. Prior, she served as a lobbyist for corporate and industry groups and served as Executive Director of the National Women’s Business Council, a US federal commission.

  • Maureen Robbins

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Patient Safety Award ($1,000)

    Bio: Maureen Robbins brings over 33 years of expertise at CoreLogic as a Senior Client Director. She drives business growth by leveraging data insights into actionable business intelligence that drives innovation, enhances decision-making, and delivers measurable ROI. Inspired by the untimely passing of her father, Maureen has emerged as a patient advocate. She has spent the last 8 years working with Patient Safety Movement, currently serving on the USA Patient Network Board and dedicating herself to helping families navigate complex healthcare systems.

  • Dr. Deborah Topol

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Cura Personalis Award ($1,500)

    Bio:Deborah Topol, MD, FACP is the Associate Dean for Medical Education at Georgetown Medical School/Med Star Washington Hospital Center.  She attended University of Pennsylvania undergrad and University of Maryland Medical School.  She did her Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at Georgetown.  She has enjoyed teaching medical students and residents for over twenty years.  Her educational interests include teaching clinical reasoning, bioethics, and managing moral distress in residents and medical students. 

  • Dr. Torres-Yaghi

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Neuro AI Innovation Award ($3,000)

    Bio: Dr. Yasar Torres-Yaghi, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Parkinsonism and Dementia Clinic at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, specializing in neurodegenerative disorders. He has led numerous clinical trials focused on Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, and related conditions, contributing to the development of new therapies. His work bridges the gap between laboratory research and patient care, particularly through his involvement in the Georgetown Translational Neuro-Therapeutics Program. A dedicated educator, he has received multiple teaching awards including the String of Pearls Award and Hugh Hussey Award for mentoring medical students and residents. His expertise in clinical trials, drug development, and neurotherapeutics makes him a valuable resource at the intersection of medicine, technology, and entrepreneurship.

  • Dr. Grace Hui Yang

    Judging for: Grand Prize ($5,000) & Best in Technical Innovation Award ($1,500)

    Bio: Dr. Grace Hui Yang is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Georgetown University, leading the InfoSense group. She earned her Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011. Her research focuses on deep reinforcement learning, interactive agents, search engines, and privacy-preserving information retrieval. She has led initiatives such as the TREC Dynamic Domain Tracks (2015–2017) and SIGIR workshops on privacy-preserving retrieval and deep reinforcement learning. Dr. Yang has served as associate editor for ACM TOIS and on committees for major conferences like SIGIR, ACL, and AAAI. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and co-authored Dynamic Information Retrieval Modeling (2016).
