Involving over 200 participants with backgrounds in computer science, medicine, and business, we bring together the brightest minds to create innovative prototypes in Al and medicine for better patient care.

While you can work solo, we recommend teaming up for a collaborative experience and the opportunity to network.

We welcome participants of all experience levels! We will be hosting pre-hackathon sessions to assist with team formation and provide technical guidance. During the event, you'll have access to a variety of workshops aimed at enhancing your learning in AI and medicine.

Yes, both you and your team are required to be present in person. Your attendance is crucial for initial check-in, participating in the voting round, and potentially for the final demonstration. While some support and workshops might be conducted virtually, your physical presence is essential for key parts of the event.

No, the event does not include overnight stay. We adhere to the venue's official closing hours for safety reasons, and participants must arrange their own overnight accommodations.

Finalists will be evaluated by a panel of experts and faculty based on several key criteria, including technical vigor, clinical validity, business viability, patient-centered perspective, and AI safety. Additionally, there will be a specific Patient Safety Award, recognizing the best solution that addresses one or more of these five problem categories: medications, procedural/surgical safety, patient care, infections, and diagnostic safety.

Please note that all teams must pick one of the 4 Clinical Challenge Cases to work on during the event. Teams cannot compete with ideas/projects outside of these scopes.
